First, if the rabbit had hit the windscreen the rabbit would be dead. But it's not. So it makes you think, what hit it then? Was it another rabbit? A deer or a tree perhaps? You just don't know. Why show a living rabbit then? And if the rabbit was not involved in the collision, why did it jump on the car? Do rabbits use to jump on top of cars that have just had accidents? I think not.

Isn't this the advert where the woman has crashed into a pet shop?

Yes. There's a link to the advert in my post above.

So definitely a pointless rant over a misunderstood advert.

The OP should follow DiddyDavies's link and watch the whole advert.

I have a pointless rant to make.
The object of my ire is the picture currently appearing on the Aviva UK web site advertising car insurance, which I think it's doctored.
A television advert doctored, who would have believed that?
I suppose that you think that there's really a talking tiger who loves breakfast cereal and that there is an extended family of meerkats whose sole aim in life is to help people to save money!

OK. I got it… Next time a picture in an ad on the Internet appears doctored, I'll binge on TV adverts for a week just in case one turns up that might explain the scene. Simples!
Or maybe I start a new political party whose sole aim is to lobby the government to force financial organizations to attach disclaimers to ads that appear doctored, so that people can make sense of them.
I'll do those two… anything to spare fellow Forumites my pointless rants.
Won't bother you anymore - promise (broken already ;-)

But every advert is "doctored" in some way to get the image they want. So you will be doing a lot of venting if your irked every time you see an advert!.

The OP probably prefers the direct approach, maybe a spokesperson could read out the following instead?
    Aviva- we offer car insurance
Sometimes we will be cheaper than our competitors, sometimes not
We offer many benefits, sometimes more than our competitor, sometimes less
Please ask us for a quote - it is free and without obligation
Please make sure you look at all the details as overall sometime we are better than our competitors, sometimes not
