drphila said:Just had this message relating to Vue cinema tickets for year ending Oct.2020:"I can confirm that the Vue vouchers have been extended to the 31/07/21."
I suppose the issue is going to be more what films are released to watch in that time - as a lot of cinemas struggled to get new releases on screen or relied on old movie stock.0 -
We had some Cineworld vouchers that had an expiry date of November last year. When Cineworld announced they were closing last year that weekend me and my partner watched 3 films over that weekend just to use them up. Not ideal but no way were we gonna loose out on a freebie0

I have spoken to the company who issue the cinema tickets and made them aware we have 12 expired vouchers and could not use because of the cinemas being closed. They said in cases like that they are submitting a claim to Lloyds for compensation to be paid. I should hear from the bank in the next 5 working days. These are Cineworld tickets and I understand they refused to extend the date.0

I have 6 that expired 13/4/21. I received a message from Lloyds a while back that they would be extended but no confirmation was forthcoming.

I received this:

31st May 2021? They must be meaning 31st May 2022 as Cineworld cinemas aren't even open yet. Even if they re-open next week, it seems entirely unreasonable to expect people to use all their vouchers within a week.0

I can only by my own experience and sparky0138 said:I received this:No doubt things have changed since you received this notification. Will update when more known from Lloyds.0

To be fair, I got the same thing from Lloyd's, in November last year (when the May date didn't seem quite so bad).
I also recalled this comment, suggesting no further extension will be forthcoming:

Lloyds and Cineworld no longer have a contractual relationship - Lloyds (as do Vitality) offer cinema rewards via Vue and Odeon now. And why would Cineworld wish to extend when they need paying customers.
Lesson for the future - use the vouchers as soon as you can!0 -
Jus wondering if anyone has expired Vue tickets and received an extension email? When I called earlier in the year, they said they would be extended but not heard anything since or received any emails at all.0
