If you're using WiFi exclusively, you are getting nowhere near the line speed of the BB connection to the house.

That is a high price for 100mb.
No you don't need a landline

Initially, Virgin offered a BB deal, 100mb @£29pm, based on comments above, I cancelled yesterday,

Can anyone recommend a BB deal, I only use BB for browsing / internet use, very little uploading / downloading, that said, my TV package will cease shortly, therefore, I may need BB for any TV streaming services I may use in the future (it's all very confusing to me)

Just browsing / light use  mobile 4g dongle .

TV streaming all depends upon what you want .
