Did some shopping a couple of days ago including topping up some cupboard stuff which was getting low, things like tinned tomatoes and tuna. Farm shop today and spent about £20 including some meat. Final tally for February £18.20/£250 left. Will move this to my bulk fund for next month.

Declaring for February at £382.53/£400, so quietly pleased! And the £36.16 spent yesterday was mostly on food for the coming week, so should probably have been in March's budget. Which starts today, for us, so I'll have two lines in my signature over the weekend, because I don't want to lose a month that I "won" too quickly!Angie - GC Aug25: £106.61/£550 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)5

Good morning everyone
Declaring at £140.90/£142.30, leaving £1.40 to roll over to March.
I have one final spend to declare for February: £3.58 in L!dl on Tuesday, where we bought potatoes, sweet potatoes and some sliced ham. The 2p we received in change has gone into the “coppers jar”, which holds about £21 of coins when full. (It takes 6 or 7 years to fill.).
See you all in March.

As all the kids are at home this weekend, tradition dictates that they have a McDonalds on a Saturday. Coupled with my final shop of the month this morning, my spend came in at £498.21/£500. So, under budget, but I definitely need to get that down next month.Debt free since December 2015. It can be done3

Hi all,
I’m calling February at £180.58/£180. I’m ok with being pennies over as I went to the butcher’s on Friday to get some bacon and thought I might as well get the 5lb bulk pack of chicken and the leg beef looked lovely. I have plenty of meat in for the next month or so, so I’m hoping to keep spends down and get through more stores. I have lots of random carbs like pearly barley, split peas and semolina to use so need to be better at trying to use those instead of reaching for pasta and rice!See you over in March!

Hi All
Sorry I haven't really been keeping up with the thread in Feb but I have been keeping track of spending. I have set a yearly total.
My spend for Jan was £241.46
My spend for Feb was £385.09.
See what happens when I am not really thinking about what I am doing!
Off to join the March thread for some motivation and accountability
