So I'm not going to shop again so I've finished on £170 instead of £240. So I'm going to try March on £180 and see if I can do that. I'm including all pet food and litter, cleaning items and anything like a take away coffee because it's all coming from the same budget. My aim is to drop to £140 saving myself £150 a month I've been spending £300 and keeping it up as it's no good doing it once. If I can do £180 in March. I can start putting the £60 a month towards debts woo oo. And I need to learn from you guys how to shave that extra £40 off. I got just a few extra bits online, one at a time, and now I'm about £80 adrift of target for the year so far. It all goes so quick! The March plan is one online order per week, no more. I could not fit one more thing in my cupboard!2021 GC £1365.71/ £24005

That's my February challenge done. Ended up with £14.23/£200. I am sure I have got it wrong along the way. The left over has gone into a spare shopping purse. I will be planning more meals to remain focussed also bought my cupboard store bits I needed moving forward. I will be ensuring I get all my receipts and taking the "purse with cash" to use. Also working harder for NSD improvements. Total NSD was 15 that's after checking in my diary, did better than I thought.
See you in March

My new month starts today so declaring my February grocery budget final at £224.49. My goal was £280 so really pleased with this. I'll shave another £20 so my March goal is £260. This is for me and one teenager home half the time - and a cat! My budget covers food, cleaning products and essential toiletries. My February spend was £37 per week per person. How does this compare to others? I feel it is a little high but not sure how to cut deeper whilst maintaining sanity...

I am over by £7
. We thoroughly enjoyed the food I brought for lunch so in that respect it was worth it. I also brought a big box of broken biscuits £2.99 just for stocks.
I don't want things to be too tight and want to be honest with myself, so I think March I will up to £115 and not account for any dog food costs.
Still pleased with final result of £107.
