Two spends to report: £12.75 at the supermarket & £7.50 at the baker's. Mostly bread (surprise, surprise!) but also washing liquid & conditioner, requested by the DDs (i'm perfectly happy with my Eco-washball, still) anthisan cream as for some reason my ankles have broken out in a blistery rash (some kind of allergic reaction, we think. Anthisan works!) kale & spinach. More will be spent at the market tomorrow.Angie - GC Aug25: £207.73/£550 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)6

OH dinner : Beef lasagne.
My dinner : Vegan lasagne served with steamed broccoli and salad.
£115.14/£150.
£34.86 left.I am a vegan woman. My OH is a lovely omni guy6 -
Hope everyone is OK and warm today its been so cold.
Nipped out picked up more bread, hot cross buns, Nutella, bananas, and a YS pack of kitkat bars. So £12.35 left for the rest of the week. I know I need butter, potatoes and milk so plenty left to cover that.

Suffolk_lass and Mrs Cheshire - a neighbour has volunteered to get anything we need but I have decided to use what we have. Had pancakes for lunch today as no bread. I was moaning about not being able to shop - now I don't want to.
I baked sultana & cinnamon muffins last night while cooking dinner.
This snow is a blessing in disguise as I have way too much stuff that doesn't get used normally.
The snow is going now here - Mr F may go out for a local paper tomorrow but I will see what the conditions are like. Apparently our local A & E has been very busy with broken bones.

Good evening All
Just a small shop to declare: £6.33 in L!dl yesterday. DH had to take his car to the garage - the gear linkages were seizing - and did the shop on his walk home. He took advantage of an offer on their app giving 15% off on toiletries: 2 bottles of shampoo, 1L of hair conditioner and 4 hand creams purchased (their version of classic Neutragena). The only food items on the shopping list were eggs, wraps and black bread. He got the wraps and the black bread but they didn’t have any eggs. Sadly, they didn’t have any £1.50 veg boxes either. It was 9am and DH was quite disappointed. (We’ve never yet managed to get one.)
The above brings our total spend to £88.19/£142.30, leaving £54.11 for the rest of the month.
