Snowing again here - looked at weather forecast and seems to be Monday before temperatures rise. So looks like we will miss out a weekly shopping trip this challenge. Down to tinned fruit now and getting short of potatoes.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

No milk delivered on Tuesday but fortunately DH picked up a gold top Jersey bottle in the SM on Monday (all that was left) and my lovely milkman delivered double this morning (at 02.00!). Very cold here and a bit more snow yesterday evening - still a good 15cm deep here.
So I will bake treats today and despatch to the local hospital with my neighbour who works there. Apparently the nurses really enjoyed the last lot with a lot fewer people still sending in boxes of thanks this time.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Total spend of £42.46 at MrT, should see us into early next week when I'll do a shop to last half term. Does include some creme eggs for donating to the local hospice for their easter appeal and some treats for the kids over the weekend.
@Florenceem could you ask a neighbour to collect a few bits for you to save you struggling in this weather.
I've made bolagnese for tea tonight but only needed half the mince, so will use the other half tomorrow to make a cottage pie (may eat it but may freeze it for another day). Managed to pick up some parsnips last night from Oli0 so will use those to bulk up the cottage pie.Grocery Challenge 2024

Just checking in with a £6 spend yesterday on some milk, toothpaste and toothbrushes and bits for lunches. A refund of £1.65 from Shopmium puts the total at £4.35/£180 for February.Vicky x5 -
