If I've lost my left ear, it will show as my right ear in a selfie. If a friend takes a pic it will show as my left, yes.?3

Take a selfie whilst wearing clothing with a logo on it. In some instances the print will be reversed, but not with all phones. On mine there is an option to flip selfie images which eliminates that problem.

Selfie = photo you take of yourself
Selfie can be you standing in front of a mirror and taking a photo of the mirror image in which case things are mirrored. It can be you having a phone on a selfie stick or your arm out stretched in which case the image isnt mirrored but your unlikely to capture an appropriate image. It can be a camera on a tripod where you press the button with a 10 second delay or you have a remote release and so no one on the planet will know if its a selfie or a photo taken by someone else and it wont be mirrored.roddydogs said:If I've lost my left ear, it will show as my right ear in a selfie. I bet you £1m I can show you at least a dozen ways to take the selfie that it wont.
For example, two photos from an associates wedding, one of these photos is a selfie and one of them was taken by a photographer... which is the selfie, left or right??

Neither I would say as my idea of a selfie involves a person taking a picture of themself by pressing the button on the phone.
One of these photos was taken by the bride pressing the button on a camera... you'll also note that neither photos are mirrored0 -
For the purpose of my op, and the general understanding of a selfie is a mirror image. Didn't know some cameras can "flip" the image, im guessing most dont! Yes putting a camera on a stand with delay and running round is still a selfie, but i think most knew what was ment!2
