Just thought I would give you an update.
BPA did fob me off and asked me to go back to DVLA etc etc etc (and info I've found out on research BPA appear to side with these parking company's) as they believe DVLA gave MET the wrong address!!
Also even though I uploaded recorded delivery copy to BPA when I sent a letter to MET.   BPA also said they can't find it.

NO.........MET clearly just got the property number wrong on all 3 original letters.
I clearly have a case and re-sent MET only a letter.........quoting part of it.......it is then I cannot be held liable as I did not, and could not have, received your NTK within the 14 day relevant period required by POFA 9 (4) etc.

Probably going to be a long wait for a reply!

Appreciate any advise, but I seem to have a good case.

I don't think they realise how much stress these parking company's cause as my partner has a serious medical  condition and it's precious time spending on this, when it's time taken away from her!!

Do you have a signature confirming MET received your recorded delivery letter and did you show that signature to the BPA?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Good point.  The problem is MET cleverly only have a PO Box No. to send too.
From advise from the Post Office the postman signs it that it has gone into the correct PO Box. I have that copy.
(I sent a copy to BPA Inc a copy of the letter) and was the only address option unless anyone got any other ideas ?

I've heard that they quite often leave you waiting for a long time when a case looks in your favour?

I'm keeping all documents if it ever went to court....but it's pain keep getting these debt letters!

    Thanks for your thoughts

Posties have been signing for these deliveries for many months due to the pandemic , in any case no p o box owner ever signs for mail , because it's a p o box number , an unmanned mailbox , so you wasted your money because there is no proof that MET received it , only a mailbox

Sending first class with a receipt from the p o counter staff is deemed delivered 2 days later , and cheaper too

Point of order too , there is no recorded delivery service , only signed for (which Posties do) and special delivery , where they usually take a photo of delivery to the address , like couriers do , gps tracking is also used with their handheld devices in many cases

Technology eh ? Doesn't prove a claimant received anything , especially when using p o boxes !! It only proves the letter went in a box at a third party location

The BPA is a members trade body , paid for by parking companies , not a regulatory body , complaints are either online or by email to Sara Roberts
