Not a fan. Don't understand why they decided this looked good.0

makes me dizzy looking at the swirls0

It's better than having the words on their side, which I never liked.0

Is that someone’s fingerprint?3

Yet another waste of money....
A pre school child could have done that for free.....
Makes you wonder about marketing people when they think "It's exciting" Wonder what they think is boring?Life in the slow lane0 -
why is that lady carrying a giant pencil on her shoulder?
why does she not have any eyes?
just what IS going on?

What is it supposed to be?
At first I saw a P but now I can see an F and a D within there. It also looks like an ear a bit. Maybe it was trying to do something like below?
Why tempter with something which worked. Wouldn't be surprised if HSBC UK was sold and became First Direct. The current First Direct would be absorbed. No indication of that at all! but I suspect this is part of the long game. China is now ruler of the bank. Profile is the ruler of banks. Why spend the money on this logo? FD doesn't have much going for it anymore, apart from good customer service. You have to wonder why they would bother. Something is behind it. Can't say I am a fan, it is not clear that it belongs to FD, nor is it distinctive. You could argue over time it will become associated with first direct, but their old logo already had that.0 -

just what IS going on?There is also a guy without eyes and bald. And to add to confusion, another similar logo with a question mark.

I think the finger print is to identify them as being unique. They seem to have moved away from the all black and white and added some color to their website.1

Possibly it's part of a labyrinth that you have to navigate to log in?Retired 1st July 2021.
This is not investment advice.
Your money may go "down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... I got all tricked up and came up to this thing, lookin' so fire hot, a twenty out of ten..."0
