Can i do what i want with my own car parking space

Looking to buy a new home, it has two allocated parking spaces that come with the property.
There is no garden and no where to hang washing. Can i legally put a rotary washing line in one of the spaces i own?
Im thinking surely because i own it i can do what i want with it. But im not sure if this is something neighbours can protest and legally stop happening?

Yes much better for the environment than using a tumble dryer to dry my clothes. Just interested to see if anyone could legally stop this. As its part of my property i should technically be allowed to do what i want with it....
Anyone know?0 -
Check your lease2

Depends what the titles say. If it's called an "allocated parking space" that suggests it's not part of the property you'll own, it's just something you have the right to use (presumably for parking a car).3

Or someone who cares more about the environment rather than what people thinkfacemask said:Yes you can put a rotary washing line in the middle of the parking space. Well if you want the neighbours to think a Chav has moved in i suppose.8 -
A wall-mounted 'rotary' washing line?0

My house has covenants and they say the parking at the property must be kept in place. So check this. Although a washing line in a space could be easily removed. I’m trying to picture a washing line in a parking space though, is it big enough? Is there parking for other properties next to it? If it’s a separate parking area just for your cars then easier but will everyone have access to your washing? You hear some stories about people punching things from the line.0

If it’s important to you, you must check this before going further. Most rotary lines require a hole sunk into the ground. How will your one stay upright? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

Why would you even do that! If you can do anything with a parking space, surly someone would have come up with the idea before - eg, burger van, zoo, red light district, pub ...5

I was thinking one that needs to go in the ground as i wouldnt want to attach it to anybodys fencepumas said:A wall-mounted 'rotary' washing line?0
