Stuie..I have been watching some of the YouTube videos of people playing the slots in Vegas.
Some of these people play $25-50 a spin😳
You would need to hit a hand pay after about 10 minutes play just to break even.😂
Good luck with the trip..think it’s about time you came back with some profit from one of your vegas trips.😉1 -
Hi All,
Planning a trip to Vegas in March next year, but have stumbled at the first hurdle, and can't decide where to stay! Want somewhere that covers all bases, and is reasonably priced?
I typically go way OTT with research before booking anything and there is too much to consider here...
There are clearly lots of choices, and many of you guys and gals have lots of experience... What should I go for?
- 40th Birthday
- 2 Adults
- 4/5 days
- We will look to get married on one of the days (after 20 years!), pull a witness off the street kinda thingI know we have to go downtown first for a license.
TIA!1 -

TIA!My favourite property for a party vibe in a good location would be the Cosmopolitan. Rooms overlooking the Bellagio Fountains
Might not be a reasonable price though.
Lots of choice though!0 -

What do you think is "reasonably priced"
Is this your first Visit?
Vegas is split in two IHMO
The strip-Showy\lights touristy
Downtown-More gritty, Casinos real Vegas (of old)
We've all got different ideas as to what is best\worst etc so difficult to recommend.
For the strip:- Cosmopolitan-get a room with a view of the Bellagio fountains.
Downtown_Difficult as I've not been in years.
Can gritty or glitzy.

Haven’t been in here for a while, Like a few other regulars I decided I was done with Vegas after our last trip in 2022 (after 20 ish trips). We are holidaying in in the UK and in Zante this year but my wife keeps saying let’s go back to Vegas
I have given in…had an email from BA saying business class on sale so had a look ( shouldn’t have done)
before booking flights I checked for comps on M life and Caesar’s not expecting any as it’s a year since we were there
so here we are, business class with BA on way out premium on return , April next year
12 nights all comped at Flamingo/ Mandalay bay and Paris
hoping to change last 3 nights at Paris to Main Street but nothing online for MS so will email a host to see what she can do5 -
Arrived yesterday, good flight with BA, new club seat was great. Checked in to room on app before flight but hold payment didn’t go through but no queue when we arrived.Stu - One bed penthouse on the 60th floor, room is lovely. Managed to stay up till 2am drinks service ok at Luxor and Mandalay2

Good to see, mite try the app myself, were in Laughlin now, heading to M Bay tomorrow...
We flew virgin upper class to LA yesterday (airmiles) , gotta be honest, I prefer premium, although the food was a total different class altogether which was nice !
