Any recommendations for a decent breakfast buffet on the stripThe common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0

Finally booked and going October next year, booked direct with The Linq - free cancellation 48 hthenours before, depooist paid.
If between now and then the price drops, can I cancel and re-book? Meaning I have lost the original depoist? If so, then I won't bother as there is no saving.0 -

If you want a breakfast/brunch buffet nearby, then Cosmo's Wicked Spoon will be your nearest, higher end option.
$38 Mon-Fri, $49 Sat-Sun.
If you want value, then a trip to the Grand Lux Cafe (one in Venetian, one in Palazzo) will give you all the good quality basics. They have an AYCE buffet option.
$24.95
If you want big, over the top breakfasts, but a la carte rather than buffet, then Hash House A Go Go will impress. Locations at The Linq, and Plaza in Downtown.0 -
But if you want a really nice, good quality American breakfast then get an Uber to the nearest Black Bear diner. I think the nearest is just a little South of the Las Vegas sign on Las Vegas Blvd, though there is one West of you (vdara is next to the Aria I think?) on Tropicana. Well worth going to. I wouldn't bother with the buffet - they focus on quantity not quality and you won't go hungry at the BBD.1

Black Bear diner is nice, and Blueberry Hill is very good too. There are a few of them in Vegas. Also don’t forget Ellis Island steak and eggs special. Available up to 11am weekdays and 2 pm weekends. I think it’s $8.99 now. Bargain.1

The quality, variety and value you will get at a good Vegas buffet, outstrips many a la carte restaurants.
You go to a buffet for the buffet experience, not because it's the best high end dining experience.
OP was asking about buffets.1 -

Yes I know the OP was asking about buffets, however I was just giving an alternative. He or she is perfectly free to ignore my suggestion and I won't be upset. That's the nature of the internet - not everyone has the same viewpoint.0 -

Have a play around with Google flights or ITA Matrix and see what you come up with. I had a brief look and Dublin to Vegas via AMS on KLM (Business) comes up at around £1302 for a date at the end of June. There are quite a few other dates scattered around on the £1300 or so mark.
I am not sure with the Mlife site is, but I found (YMMV) that the better deals were usually on the hotel (the MGM chain for example) website rather than things like Booking.com or similar.2
