I still get a weekly Travelzoo email, but there’s rarely anything I would want to do in it. I think you’re right, they don’t need to try at all to get people there.

Nothing  thing on restaurant.com either, or pop slot rewards for that matter. We’ve ended up with a $25 food credit at Wolfgang pucks
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

I've finally(!) emptied my MyVegas account - we're staying at Park MGM again, so managed to get $50 slot credit, $15 matchplay and a 2 for 1 entree at Lemongrass (in Aria... will go for a lower spicyness this time though! 😪)

Any recommendations for some of the better, lower value MyVegas rewards?

Not going until December and have 850k LPs, but plan to use some of those for a hotel stay and Match/Free play on a future trip next year.

Going to try my best MSE trip with a couple of MyVegas nights and using Virgin miles :)

Just got back from our LA-Vegas trip. Started off in Disneyland - Big Bear Lake - Las Vegas. Will try and sort a trip report soon, sad to leave but nice to be back too.
We had an evening flight back and landed yesterday lunchtime, we were wide awake at 6am this morning but I had to go and wake the children at 9am so have the feeling I will be napping on the sofa this afternoon  :D

I will look forward to your report. Still haven’t booked anything for our October trip. Things keep getting in the way.

3 weeks till we go. Cancelled our 4 nights at Mirage with MyVEGAS and opted to stay at Platinum. Got our contact to give me a deal I couldn’t turn down, and it’s just so much more convenient, walking distance to the area we spend most of our time in.
Still got 5 nights in a 1 Bed suite Signature.

Glad to hear that Platinum are doing deals again. Do I know the contact or is it a new one? We would like to stay there again if the price is right.
  • Hi everyone, back again had to make a new account as the other one just stopped working for some reason. I have a holiday to Vegas next month and cannot wait  :) Staying at the Signature as usual with one night at the Bellagio courtesy of Myvegas. I am trying to redeem myvegas tickets to watch Americas got Talent on our trip through the MGM website and it will not accept my card. Has anyone else had this issue? I've never ever had this issue before.

    Yeah, me 👋🏼

Funnily enough, I called MBNA about it today. They put me thru to fraud team to make sure my card wasn’t blocked. It wasn’t.

They said the issue is that MGM Resorts website is not passing the 3 digit number from the back of the card thru to them for processing (despite the fact you type it in on the website 🤔) and new UK banking legislation (brought in in the past few months) won’t let MBNA process internet orders without the number.

She said there’s quite a few non-UK websites that people are having difficulties with for the same reason.

I’m going to try MGM over the phone tomorrow instead. Will let you know how I get on 👍🏻
