In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. @AlexMac thank you for taking your time to respond, unfortunately the replies we received from the secretary of the managing directors had put us off the purchase altogether as she had stated that dogs had given the estate a terrible headache in the past and it was down to irresponsible owners who like us had explained their dogs were quiet, friendly and small!
This implied to us that we were being pre-judged and viewed negatively for owning a dog before we’d even had a chance to prove otherwise as the lease states consent can be withdrawn at anytime.(As I’ve said before I completely understand some people don’t want to live near dogs but in this situation it just wasn’t made clear to us from the start or in the lease)We are weighing up our options from here thank you for all the helpful advice on here 👍🏼5
