    We had a Jet2 flight cancelled last year and they gave us the option of either rebooking for a later date or a refund. I opted for the refund and it appeared on my credit card in less than a week. 
  • Thanks all. Jet2 have refunded flight cost. 
    I'm impressed it really didn't take them long!

  • Jet2 cancelled our flight on 1st September 2021 but only when we arrived at the airport. They keep saying they sent an e mail that's rubbish I have all their e mails, they changed flight times twice and I printed off the boarding passes to match their updates. I also printed off the latest information from Manage my booking on their website. I have travelled with them several times and have had holidays cancelled before but this time they are not accepting their error  so Ive reported them to the Civil Aviation Authority and asked my credit card for cash back under section 75 consumer act. Any other suggestions please.

    What exactly have Jet2 said? 
    Did they tell you when the flight was changed and when they believe they notified you?
    Was the flight cancelled or rescheduled and departed at another time?
    Flight only or a Jet2 package holiday?
    What was the flight number, route, date of departure?

    Probably talk with customer care. Probably the made a mistake.

    @swan6060 you are replying to a post from 13 January-

    ( when UK was in lockdown and International travel for tourist purposes was banned )

    OP reported that it was resolved on the 18th January - when they got a full refund from Jet2.
