Familiar story I'm afraid... ordered a boxed set and, though I saw 100s of them in two HMV stores in Central London, their tax-free Jersey store (it is from there they originate) was showing as "on order from supplier" for several weeks. In the end I persuaded them to send me one of their UK stock.

  • I ordered Ice Age I-II and it turned up 2 days later so I think any special offers have to be snapped up immediately to stand any chance of getting things in time for Xmas ;)
  • Hi, does anyone know what it means by "open order", ordered on the 6th and it is showing up as this status.

Yes I did order late in the day but as I had not access during the day made it a little harder. I don't spend all day on the internet I have a life.

But if they are going to make such offers then they should make sure they access to enough products or stop taking orders. Also should make sure their site is updated. As I ordered last sunday and they where still showing as being in stock today at a slightly higher price. Takes a week to update does it. Just looked now and it is back up to £27.99 and still in stock. So they can update the price but not stock.

I was told there was none in stock. So me thinks I ain't getting don't you. Don't like be messed about just wanted to make sure that people where aware that the might not get their goods in time for christmas if at all.

    Yours
