I don't know but I'd like to try it.williamgriffin said:
If you've not tried the 425 how do you know it's the right club for you?DH60 said:It wasn't a simple change of mind. If the delivery time hadn't been so long I wouldn't have given their new model a second thought but now that I know about it I'd rather have it. I'm blaming nobody for the wait but it wasn't my fault either. I checked the t&c's and, unsurprisingly, custom fitted orders are excluded. My argument is nothings been customised to an extent its unusable. Get an Allen key out and you have a separate stock shaft and head, both of which can be reused. They also wouldn't be losing a sale as I'm looking for a replacement rather than a refund. To go down the valued customer route suggested by Manxman I've spent quite a bit there this year so I'll be making that point when the shop reopens. Expect to see an unused Ping G410 Plus on gumtree Glasgow soon. Thanks for your comments everyone.0 -
They've had 11 weeks which in normal circumstances would be classed as long enough. I don't know if they're being given a bit of leeway because of the pandemic, which I could understand. Its not a delivery problem. I think the Ping factory was closed. Having said that I still don't see a problem with returning that one and selling me the new one. Still getting a sale. In fact, it could be a bit more expensive.unholyangel said:Unless you agreed otherwise when you entered the contract, the time for delivery is 30 days.
If time was of the essence (because you'd told the trader you needed it for a certain date ) then you would immediately have the right to cancel.
If time was not of the essence then you need to give them a further period to deliver and if not delivered within that time, you have the right to cancel.

Will the new one not be delayed as well?0
