BT Infinity / Halo?

Does anyone know if the BT packages have changed names please? We are currently out of contract and before Christmas I was receiving e-mails from them to upgrade to Halo which I ignored as I was planning a switch in the new year. However I have received an e-mail from them saying welcome to Halo! Is this simply a name change does anyone know? I know I can call and ask but thought someone here may know before I spend ages on the phone trying to get through

Infinity changed name to Halo 1 in the summer and is the same price. Halo 2, which gives a couple of extras not worth having IMO, is more expensive.3

Halo is the new name for fibre broadband/line package product.
They have asked me to ''upgrade'' to Halo 2 for ''just'' an extra £5 per month - LOL - The leaflet in the recycling!2 -
Same here - they are absolutely bombarding me at the moment with e-mails and letters in the post about re-contracting - all straight in the recycling!! Currently paying £54.99 a month (out of contract) and they are advertising it to new customers for £26.99 so a phonecall is on the cards very soon, possibly followed by a switch depending on the outcome

Make sure they don't knock off free weekend calls and end up with 20p per minute phone charges at all times.1 -

I think if BT can't make a decent enough offer, I will be looking at switching to Plusnet so I was having a read through. To be honest the calls don't really factor in to our decision because we never use the landline at alll, there isn't a phone plugged in, we just stick to mobiles0
