I think the intention of the guidelines is that you can make appointments to view properties and of course carry on if mid purchase. I'm not so sure how it would be taken if you were stopped by the Police camping out in some layby in Wales.......I think you just need to sit tight for the moment, keep looking on the internet and if 'the right' sort of place crops us you could drive to Wales and back in a day (yes a long day but leave the kids with MIL and take the car).Good luck with it all.0

Any specific reason for Wales? Middle Devon is still relatively cheap away from the major road arteries, there's no language issue and the bloody tourists don't seem to know it exists. That's 3 positives.

I'm also sorry for your predicament but don't forget that at the moment nobody should be travelling anywhere if it's not essential. So it's probably best not to go property hunting, in any kind of vehicle, right now. Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts. Although I do carry out careful research before posting and never intend to mislead or supply out-of-date or incorrect information, please do not rely 100% on what you are reading. We just love the ceredigion area. But, we are not absolutely tied to that decision. The original plan was to literally travel round the country and look.Davesnave said:Any specific reason for Wales?
