We have a 50k deposit and I can put a less deposit down and use it to do the house up. All I’m asking is what kind of offer would you put in for a house like this. As we was going to say 128k0

Your father-in-laws neighbour must be lying if they say it hasn't flooded in 50 years. Pretty much the whole of Kinmel bay (along with Pensarn and Towyn and parts of Rhyl) flooded in 1990.Kirkii27 said:My father in law has lived on this estate for 5 years. His neighbour has lived on here for over 50 years and it never been flooded! They are also facing the beach. This property is set back on the estate.0 -
£7k less than a place that doesn't need <wet finger> £30k spending on it.Kirkii27 said:We have a 50k deposit and I can put a less deposit down and use it to do the house up. All I’m asking is what kind of offer would you put in for a house like this. As we was going to say 128k2 -
That’s far too much. According to the floor plan, the main bedroom has no windows. By the time you have put this place in order you will have spent at least £30k on it. And you will end up with a place worth how much? Maybe £130k. Does it even have central heating?Kirkii27 said:We have a 50k deposit and I can put a less deposit down and use it to do the house up. The agent has had it on Rightmove since mid December, yet they still haven’t bothered to photograph it. Surely, that’s because they think it cannot possibly sell ?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?1 -
Don`t waste it, offer them 100k.Kirkii27 said:We have 50k deposit for the property and around 5k saved to do the property up0 -
I can't see the link to the house in this thread any more. Perhaps the OP doesn't like the advice he's received and has edited it out? Unfortunately, you do take your life in your hands, posting here, but I don't think that any of the advice was deliberately unkind. Well, not very, very unkind.
I do think the OP should offer much less and be prepared to walk away.
Anyway, it's this one:

If the seller makes 100k they should be breaking out the bubbly IMO.1

I won’t be putting an offer in. I was generally asking for an opinions on the property. This is my first time buying a house and not much is available around the area we are looking. I’ve heard house prices are going up

That floor plan isn't for the house that's photographed is it???
The floor plan shows the front door leading into the lounge and no door leading out of it
The photo shows the house is an upside down L shaped. With the front door on the left alongside the garage!0
