Halifax Reward - £5k+ balance but tracker says 'No'- eta Fixed

I bounced £1500 out and back in Jan1st for qualifying Halifax (so instantaneous credits) reward acs.
The out/in transactions both show as 4th Jan - no surpise there.
The reward Tracker now says says '..didn't maintain £5k balance at end of an invalid day' (sic) - so wont qualify for January £5 (paid in Feb)?
Anyone else in the same boat?
Phone line says 1 hr wait. I'll try again in the morning.

When you say the same day. Was that the same banking day. Which might well be different to what you regard as a day. Overnight processess can start before midnight.0

I hear what you're saying - the in and out could have been either side of, say 22.00 hrs.
I don't recall what time I did ithem but I'd be very unlucky -the transactions didn't take more than c.5 minutes.0 -
I may just let it go, and dump the £5K in a 1.2% for the remainder of the month.0

On the back of this thread I have just checked mine and OHs accounts and have exactly the same message on both of our rewards tracker.
We pay each other the £1500 by Standing orders from me to her and back etc on the 1st ( which happened on the 4th ) and now have we didn’t maintain £5k balance on an invalid date ???
It still looks to me that we have had a £5k balances at end of day though
Will try to get the time to call Halifax today and will update thread if any info comes1 -
I was just about to ring them for the same reason, I checked my tracker and get this message:-"Your balance was below £5000 at the end of the day on Invalid date, so you can’t get your offer this month."My wife gets the same message and I know both accounts have not been below £5000.I will wait now and see if this is a glitch. If at first you don't succeed, sky diving is not for you!1

Not that it clarifies the issues reported: I am in the “spend £500” scheme, and all my accounts show as on track. Last update Jan 7.0

Rather than call Halifax why not send them a message in their app?0

Well, have just called Halifax ( really quick , only about 5 mins hold time ) and have been told that I will receive a 5£ credit by end of day Monday in lieu of not going to get the Reward payment. The representative had no idea what the “ invalid date “ meant as had never seen it before but it did mean that I wouldn’t be getting any reward this month.
OH is going to wait to see if any reward turns up in her account before calling them to request a£5 credit if not.
doesn’t fill me with optimism for next month though but could just be a one off3 -

On this one I haven't got a debit card; all my other Halifax current acs give me the option to order one on line, but not this one for some unknown reason.

I'm in the same boat with my 2 accounts that qualify via £5K min balance (the £500 DC spend on the other 2 have both qualified).
My cross-firing £1,500 payments were made on 5th Jan, possibly late evening, and dated 5th Jan on my statement. I deliberately avoided the 4th thinking I'd wait until they closed off the first working day of the month.
When I rang Halifax the other day (allowing two days to register) the member of staff was clueless, first saying it wasn't due yet! Even after explaining twice more what the issue was the best they could offer was "wait until 12th Feb and call back if it isn't paid".
She offered to raise a complaint but I declined, as it could still be paid.
No offer was made to manually credit the account (as reported by another poster), so the sad thing is that if it isn't paid automatically it will cost them their minimum £25 goodwill payment next month...and £50 if I raise a separate concern for each missing payment.
