Yes, but also - its your claim. You can ask quesitons blindly expecting others to do your work for you, or you can spend 15min yourself coming up with ideas, and seeing if those make sense
Guess which looks better.2 -
People come here for exactly the purposes you describe. Telling people where they can find the information they need is part of that process.
It is far better for you to do the research for yourself than for us to spoon-feed you. If this goes to court you need to fully understand why you are arguing a certain position. A judge will be unimpressed if you cannot do so.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Right now on MCOL, on the timeline there's this entry..."Notification that the claim against you was discontinued was received on 17/02/2021"That seems to suggest that the claim in it's entirety has been discontinued, not just part of it, or am I missing something?2

That's my interpretation too.ZZ3100TV0 said:Right now on MCOL, on the timeline there's this entry..."Notification that the claim against you was discontinued was received on 17/02/2021"That seems to suggest that the claim in it's entirety has been discontinued, not just part of it, or am I missing something?
You might want to ring the CCBC tomorrow to check that they agree.2 -
Yeah, the amount of the claim hasn't changed, which is why I've been checking it.
If they want to challenge me for the other PCN, they're going to have to pay another set of court fees right?

I've just got my questionnaire through from the CCBC, it's dated 17th, which is the same date that it says it was discontinued.
I'd expect I'd get a letter from CCBC about the discontinuation, is this normally the case?
I'll see what arrives tomorrow, then ring the CCBC.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
