Mumof two these are lovely and
I like the tray, shopping in Morrisons
today ?
Sat here as I am in my matching apron
scissors still twitching. I think I will
chop up this apron maker a couple of cushions
and this might be something for your tray
going to make some little lavender bags.
anyone know if they are doing matching
tea towels in this range ?
I also like it like this too as it is
or perhaps a bottle of shower gel
and one cupcake on the tray.:j:j:j0 -
I think it looks ok like that.................love the tray by the way. They really do look mouthwatering. Wonder if you can get any paper serviettes with a similar patter on............they might look nice rolled up or folded around a shower gel.
I have seen serviettes with cupcakes on
but they were very expensive £2.99 a
pack,if anyone has seen these cheap
anywhere would be grateful if you could
let us know where.Even on ebay these
work out really dear especially as there is
postageon top.
I also recieved your little robins today
they are perfect exactly what I was
looking for and way nicer than the
ones I had seen on ebay. Many thanks
for this I have posted out a few bits for
you that might be useful.
I realise now I forgot to put my note
in the box.
I am really grateful for your help with
this it will just add the finishing touch
to my yule logs.
Once again many ,many thanks

tray from Morrison. If you have time to read this thread from the beginning, Rosekitten shows you with pictures how to fold the flannels and lots of other ideas.
Cost wise: flannel 20p up to 49p depend where you get them
paper cases, about 10each I bought more than one pack so got reduced
postage.
Cherries: about 25p each0 -
Rosekitten,
Yep, Morrisons today. Didn't see aprons though.. They only had the mug, coaster and tray set and cutting board and biscuit tins. Would have loved the apron, maybe they get more stuff in next week.0 -
Hello,
Love the cupcake tray...
Ive been thinking you could do a cupcake and frothy coffee gift tray...
Maybe also get some original source minatures and pop them in a cello bag with pink tissue paper in the bottom and tie with pretty pink ribbon. I think this would look lovely on the tray with a cupcake.
If you did want to put shower gel on the tray I would maybe also put a red or pink glycerin soap with it just give the tray a nice balance.
Another idea is to take a nice soap such as a dove bar and wrap that in baby pink tissue and secure each end with pink ribbon so it looks like a big sweet.. Ive done these before in baskets and they look lovely.0 -

Where would you get the original source miniatures? I have the full size ones that I bought from Tesco at half price. Great idea about the soaps0 -
rosekitten - I was thinking about your cupcake cushions and thought it would look lovely if an individual cup cake was cut from the fabric and embellished with beads, ribbon and sequins, then this was sewn onto the front of the cushion so it stands out a little.0

I went to tescos yesterday and got myself a cream and dark brown flannel, now 2 questions 1. one flannel is a little larger than the other do you just fold the end over and roll it together (Sorry to sound thick
2. how do you 'seal' the end bits to stop them unravelling ???
I have taken some pics of how
we have folded the two together
I only had a lemon and a turquise
one to hand and the lemon one
is really too thick.
To get the best result you need
a normal one and one of the
cheap and cheerful 20p ones
from either Asda or Tesco
you can use sellotape or pins
to keep the end in place as
its the underside that no one will
see or if you are wrapping ribbon
or paper round it you may not need
anything to hold it in place.
click on pics to enlarge
you can either do the edges the same size
or make the inner one slightly wider so when its
rolled up it looks like the filling sticking out
