  • Great idea rosekitten... white, black and pink flannels would also look good as "trendy" trees.
  • Hi, reading again what I wrote I realise it looks awfull (blame the time), didn't mean any critisism, they are cute little candles and it was a great find, but now I have been spoilt after seeing Sarah's.

Hello there peeps :hello: i saw your first page OP and decided that the swiss rolls are fab :T

I went to tescos yesterday and got myself a cream and dark brown flannel, now 2 questions 1. one flannel is a little larger than the other do you just fold the end over and roll it together (Sorry to sound thick :o
    2. how do you 'seal' the end bits to stop them unravelling ???

Bity 'off topic' here but I've just come across some nursery type fabric.......pale blue with pictures of animals on it. I must have either bought it or been given it last year before grandson was born. I think I had the intention of wrapping his first teddy in it and then changed my mind. Now I've re-discovered it what can I do with it ? Bear in mind I don't have a sewing machine.
    It's about 3ft long by 18 inches.

Here are two of my cupcakes on a cupcake tray.. Not sure if I should add a shower gel or not? what do you think, would that look nice or leave it like it is?

I think it looks ok like that.................love the tray by the way. They really do look mouthwatering. Wonder if you can get any paper serviettes with a similar patter on............they might look nice rolled up or folded around a shower gel.
