Hi, here is my first attempt at a flannel cupcake...

Cases from Morrisons, about 80p in chocolate brown, flannels 4 for a quid Asda and I topped it with Lindor Choc, 4 for a quid tesco...

homebargains were selling green and red ones
they have all gone from ours but you might be
luckier if there is one local.I know John Lewis
sell them but they are £2 each which is a bit
    steep.

Hello, someone mentioned this thread and thought I'd come over and look, and I got hooked!! :D I have part of a reindeer at home, just need to get the bits and bobs to decorate him :) Bells should be coming in a couple of days, but I was wondering who/where is the best place or seller on ebay for the cellophane bags?

I want to make the pressies for Mum and Sis look extra special for all the help and support they have given me this year

Giggle, do you still need green flannels? My local £land had them 5 for £1 - I made some green muffins with a small yellow star soap in the top and in a red striped muffin case looked just like an xmas tree!! HTH X

Didn't I have fun last night!

After giving a reindeer flannel to a colleague last year, last night she roped me into helping her 13 scouts to make them.
Boy did we end up with some funny shaped reindeers :rotfl::rotfl:

I went in the Works shop and
in the kids craft section this ripple machine
I have had a little practice and thought it
would look good to use on the cup cakes
as cases especially in the metalic card
    wrapped round each one.
it only cost £2 and you get cards &
    practice papers with it.

I knew I could rely on this board to help me :D

I wanted to make a little something to give DSD on Sunday when we have an early xmas buffet for OHs family. Just giving out little things, not their presents.
I have already done cupcake socks in cupcake mugs for 2 other females but didn't want to do that for her as she has a mug and socks in her xmas hamper. So thought knickers! then was a bit stuck as to what to put them in.

Came on here for inspiration and thought I've got one of those! have now made 2 gold crinkled cases.
    I love this place :T x

ps the males are getting 'pints of guiness' another idea from here, black socks with a flannel on top
