Well done with the cakes
they look really good:j:j:j0 -
I am a newbie at all this but really want to make some yule logs for xmas presents. I tried using cheap flannels like it said on the first page but the finished product is very small and not very thick. Are you using flannels or hand towels as all your pics look like the end product is quite big. Well done everyone you are all so crafty. This is my signature!0

if you use a regular sized brown flannel
such as the ones in Primark, tesco ect
and one of the white cheap ones from
Asda or Tesco 20p each.It should look ok
Last Christmas T J Hughes were selling
the Sandersons extra thick flannels
for 50p each I got a few of these as
they only had brown or pink I think
these had not been very popular colours
but the brown ones made really good
shop sized swiss rolls as they were so thick.
if you look on the front page the one my neice made
from one of these flannels is quite large.but the rest
are smaller.,but still look as good as a larger one.:j:j:j0 -
