Now I have to make a decison between Avro and Green.
Any good / bad ponts for these suppliers.
How much time it takes for the switching?

I'm currently with Avro for dual fuel and was also with them year before last.  I've not had any problems joining or leaving them.  In your case, they certainly look to be a fair bit cheaper than Octopus
I have also been with Avro for around 3 years now. No issues personally and always find them very competitive.

    Thanks everyone for the suggestions
Finally I have made a switch to Avro Energy (Simple and SuperPremium) 12 months contract.
    The switch date is 29-01-2021

Please can someone suggest me how early before my contract expires one should start looking for a better deal,
This contact has no early exit fees so it means that I find a cheaper contract than this one, I can switch in between to a new supplier? Any pros / cons of doing that?

Personally I would be looking the day after your switch to Avro takes place - your tariff has no early exit fees so you can switch at any time.
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

Good luck with your switch to Avro, hope it goes smoothly.

You can switch suppliers up to 49 days before your contract is due to end without paying any exit fee, so any time in the month or two before it expires is when to look. However, if you have a tariff with no exit fees, you can switch whenever you feel like it (minimum of 28 days after your last switch). Don't think there is really any downsides to switching 'in-between', one of the pros though is that if and when there are some good deals going with cheaper prices than your current tariff, there's nothing to stop you taking advantage of them.
  • And if Avro have a cheaper deal in the summer you can obviously switch to that!
I'm writing a book on plagiarism. It wasn't my idea.
