Homebrew Investment

Has anyone any experience of investing in the homebrew industry ?
It may be worth a punt - in light of the latest news from the government .

In England, you won't be allowed to the pub for the next 6+ weeks, which is long enough to buy a homebrew kit and get some beer out of it, to enjoy on your own at home. Although, grocery stores will remain open, and they sell beer that someone has already brewed for you, so most people will just do that.

...and what is the time-frame from placing an on-line order, through the home production cycle and on to having a brew for consumption?  If I started today, would I have beer before the end of lock-down?    ...perhaps gin or vodka would be quicker as we already have potatoes! :)

Especially if you have tasted most home brew beer , then you would definitely go down the supermarket for your rations .

Do you want to invest in companies that make home brew kits?

Or do you want to invest in a home brew kit? In this case the returns can be relatively accurately determined by how much beer you drink.

investing in an individual Home brew kit is risky, it could do well, but equally if not researched enough, it could tank and end up in the toilet both ways.

    Do your own research

stick to index funds, ready made ones for simplicity

I used to brew my own beer and wine. with varying degrees of success. the most successfull one I did was a cider kit from boots. I still have the equipment to do it,but dont bother these days. the biggest problem with it was it took up so much space, with fermenting bins and barrels demijohns etc. dont bother now. just easier to buy it.
