Write to the DVLA and ask them to confirm exactly what dates you were the RK of vehicle AB12XYZ.

    Subject.Access.Requests@dvla.gov.uk
Even though you email your request, the DVLA will respond via Royal Mail.
Just to correct the email address for others, it's actually: SubjectAccess.Requests@dvla.gov.uk

Sorry, but your correction is misplaced.

    Subject.Access.Requests@dvla.gov.uk will work fine.
SubjectAccess.Requests@dvla.gov.uk will also work just as well.

You might, or might not, be interested to know that SuBjEcT...AcCeSsReQuEsTs@dvla.gov.uk will also work.

It matters not whether full stops are inserted or not, nor whether uppercase or lowercase characters are used

    Hey @KeithP
I thought that it shouldn't make a difference too, but it seems that the DVLA don't use Google Apps or their mail server doesn't ignore the full stop:

Most mail servers do require that the dots be put in the right place. Gmail is the outlier in that the dots need not be in the right place, so unless you know the recipient is using a Gmail server, it's best to get the dots in the right place.

Keith is quite right that email addresses are never case sensitive.

    Hi all,
I've heard back from Highview Parking and they've provided me with the SAR I requested for where I can see that they had  PCN's for the 3 incidents sent to my address in London, but I don't recall ever seeing them.
What's the next step from here?

Have you read the newbies thread, to work that out for yourself?
You know what part of the process you are in. THe newbies thread goes from PCN through to a court claim and set aside so you will be covereed.

Why do people ask for a next step all the time and forget after posting once or twice, that the NEWBIES thread covers all stages already?

You know what stage you are at.  A very important one but nothing that's any different from all the other exact same threads:
Today however, I received a Claim Form from The County Court, stating that Highview Parking are looking for £811.03 with the following breakdown:
    Amount claimed: 681.03
    Court fee: 60.00
    Legel Representative costs: 70.00
    Total Amount: 811.03

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD

    Hi guys,
Don't mean to be spamming or ask silly questions.
I've got the defence bit sorted, but I just wanted to get confirmation from you all if the defence I've written up is sufficient and what exactly my defence is to beat them in court:

    3. The Defendant does not remember whether they were the driver on those specified dates and times due to the amount of time that has passed, as the first time they heard about these parking charges were in November 2020 via post, which means that the incidents occurred 4 ½ years ago.
The Defendant cannot be held liable due to the Claimant not complying with the ‘keeper liability’ requirements set out in the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012, Schedule 4.
Is there anything else I can add to strengthen my defence?

Have you read the rest of the template defence? It contains multiple legal arguments as to why you are not liable.

You need a lot more than a defence to beat them in court

The defence is like setting the stage before a play is performed , all the scenery and props are prepared , just off stage where necessary , but to be used later in the main performance , with no judges , referees or critics present. Doors are left open for later on too

The WS plus Exhibits plus summary costs assessment stage is where the final adjustments and main props etc are placed in situ just before the curtains open on opening day , in front of a judge , with the player's and audience witnesses present

Coupon mad has presented the best script for you to follow , with a few minor changes to fit you personally made by you and nobody else but you

She did 95% of the work so you don't have to , but anything can happen on opening day and the judge may be grumpy and new and so even dame Judi dench may get a bad review

Just do the best you can when it comes to your part , this isn't a murder trial and you are not Shipman in the dock either
