Ha ha @South_coast that made me laugh out loud!
Well new bras arrived quicker than excepted. They fit...just. I have however been very mindful with my eating so hopefully in 4 weeks they will be less tight and then in 12 weeks be too big!!

    So year end report....
Start of the year total - £253,655.18
    New mortgage total - £225, 799.99
    Total reduction - £27,855.19

Not quite at £223k which was the target but that is mainly down to the increased interest which has taken us fron £400 to £700 pounds interest a month..ouch.

We have also installed a new patio, wardrobes in the bedroom and new spot lights in the bedroom and sitting room.
I now have a healthy niece and nephew.
    The cars are surviving!
And I only have one last Masters assignment to complete!

    Goals for 2024.

Well my word for this year is succeed.
I am determined to succeed in finishing my masters.
I am determined that I will succeed in getting back to a weight that makes me feel healthier and happier.

For now those are my only two personal goals. If I achieve those things this year I will be very happy! I turn 40 this year and I want to enjoy this year and be grateful for my blessings.

    Mortgage wise.
Well we now have 7 years 11 months to go.
We don't have much wiggle room in our budget, so huge overpayments won't happen. However little and often can make a difference, so that is what we will aim for.

End of year goal...to get to onederland!!
    £199,999.99
This would mean a reduction of £25,799.99. This is an achievable goal and I'm so excited to have a mortgage that starts with a 1!!!

When I did it to Santander all the dds moved over without me doing anything and the money came in about 3 weeks.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
  • Great starting goals and reflection

could you not have bought the one of the 3 training bras in a different smaller size?

I have been known to double layer so a wired training bra and then added a tight wireless bra or cropped  over it to stop bounce
    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
