That’s a lovely thought to get the ice lollies for your friend. I’ve had those before and they’re nice. I hope she starts to feel better soon, not a pleasant time for her.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Morning had a walk out with the dog this morning called in to Mr A needed eggs and bread wasn’t tempted to anything else sticking to the budget had a good laugh with my friend yesterday didn’t stay very long as she is absolutely shattered and spending a lot of the time sleeping she says the fatigue is like nothing she has ever experienced can’t put one foot in front of the other some days but the lollies cheered her up and we had a good laugh about all we did was moan most of it was about our hubby’s but there you go 😂I will call every week but have made her promise if she can’t be bothered or doesn’t want a visit say so I won’t be upset I don’t want her to be polite for anyone sake if you’re not up to it your not up to it simple as that I will call first and I will know by her voice anyway she looked better Than I thought she said she seems to have about 3 horrendous days then picks up for a few days and then it’s back to the treatment but it’s her first week down I’ve told her come Xmas she will be fighting the flab with me again 😂not up to much today calling at youngest sons going to have a sit in the garden with them hopefully the Sun will get out it’s warm but dull today have a good day everyone whatever you are doing3

I’m pleased you had a laugh with your friend. It so sad to see a friend going though treatment and knowing there isn’t a great deal you can do except just be there. Be kind to you too 👍January spends - £587.583

Your friend is very lucky to have such a good friend as you. I’ve had a few friends go through treatment for cancer and all you can do is be there for them 💕I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

I'm not keen on dumplings myself but DH is so last time I did a stew I made a plain scone mix and topped it with balls of scone - they spread together for a really nice topping. I might have to do that again now you've popped it in my head!Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

I never liked dumplings until I tried making them from just flour and natural yoghurt with a few herbs and a bit of grated cheese - delicious 😋I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
