Life is so expensive!! HAVE to get hair done. Look like a fraggle.
And am seriously considering buying a wetsuit for new love of open water swimming. ...
Need to save £200 this month so will see what it's like after. I'm putting 150 into savings and 50 into car accounts.
After hubby increased his pension I meed to give him money per month now as hea running short. All part of tweaking everything about to get used to it .
And don't get me started on the cost of new uniform and school shoes!!

Just been catching up on your diary and laughing at the wetsuit need! I've been borrowing a friend's wetsuit (plus boots, gloves and massive poncho towel) and have really enjoyed it. Very tempted to invest in my own but moneysaving habits make me reluctant...

I dream of a lovely wetsuit. I'm going to buy one for next summer I hope.....perhaps ask for money for it for Christmas. I figure if I'm at the beach I'm not spending lol so it's a savingPart time worker.

So I'm doing the whole zero club thing
So paid off 75 quid off mortgage. We have 1 mortgage made of 2 parts
Mortgage 1. £20,000.
Part 2 . £25, 300.
Total ; £45,300
I have so far saved a ton this month. Think w will have a further£150 to save . Won't put in mortgage as we have a child's birthday party to pay for

Eeek nearly end of the month.
This month I have
Saved 175 in our premium bonds
100 in the kids premium bonds (not each in total)
75 mortgage overpayment
240 until our car fix fund
I'm hoping on pay day to add another 150 to the car fix fund- what ever we don't spend will roll into a Christmas fund so that's OK....and if it costs more to MOT/TAX/ INSURE both cars then we are dipping into savings lol
My new plan for the next 4 weeks is NO TAKEAWAYS apart from when we are glamping- kids like to get takeaways. Meals out are allowed as its a family event but takeaways are only for hols.
I'm planning on keeping fresh chicken and salad in the fridge as chicken kebab is our standard take away so can easily make one.
And stockpile asda curry box meals- 5.00 at the moment.
I have bought almost all of the school uniforms. Need to get new school shoes and sweatshirts but that's it I hope... plus kids party to pay for...that's the big spend this month.
We will take tons of food glamping so only tea out each night to be bought and ice creams.

Day out with the kids £46 . Not including petrol. Worth every penny.
Went to aldi after and manages to time bargains right and got all sorts for 15p each. Made up.
Pay day sat. Going shopping tomorrow for bike for a child, gulp but that's OK we had planned it.
Excited to be paid and transfer but of money over until savings. Will over pay at the very end of the month as we are going away and it might be very very minimal this month heePart time worker.

So far only £25 saved in our savings and for each child.
That's my minimum contribution . This month looks set to be crazy expensive so I'm just going with it. .. school uniform. School Shoes. Wee long weekend away.. so all adds up.
Will be paying some thing / anything off mortgage. Just don't know what yet.
