hello everyone, I’m not exactly a newbie, very much an oldie! On this thread I mean, I was “winebox” 🙄 previously, it’s been a long time since I’ve been on here. Hello maman!! Very long time no see! I’ve got several years to catch up on, too much to try but I look forward to getting to know everyone who is now posting on here. I’m still not wanting to give up, but def need to cut down, a lot, can’t entirely blame lockdown though the hiding away made it too easy, and sort of excusable…… to, well, drink loads. I hope this post arrives as the whole format of the website has completely change, as indeed as my computer 😂

Suffice to say my drinking is (still) at a level where my GP said, two years ago, don’t go cold turkey.

Ooh and yellowmonkey still here too *wave* my computer skills not moved forwards then. I’ll go now its just that it feels like coming home to be back on here, though I’m stating the obvious saying that anyone on here long term is fighting a long, not a losing!, battle, myself included, so from that point of view not a cause for celebration….but hey, the support on here seems as strong as it ever was, and it’s a great place for a non judgemental confessional of a lapse if it happens.

3/26 for me today please.

Dogs x-ray thankfully showed no serious damage, so it'll just be a week of carrying (thankfully small) dog up and down stairs and no walks. I'll be getting nicely toned arms, lol.  Had a sneaky AF lunch with DH at our favourite Italian restaurant whilst doggy was at the vets.
