Hello everyone, it is a lovely sunny spring day where I am. I would love to sit outside with a glass of wine… never mind, it’s sparkling fruit juice for me and 5/14 please Cathybird!5

I am up to 9 for the month and 64 for the year.
Im still finding after my little slip up last Friday that I am constantly tired. I have no desire to drink at the mo, but weekends were always my downfall. Hoping some extra sleep this weekend sorts me out.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

Declaring early for the day as I am driving later on so won't be able to have a drink. 11/29 please. Visiting family next weekend so *may* have a drink but we'll see.
I had COVID a few weeks ago and my energy still hasn't quite recovered - I do wonder how much worse it would have been if I had still been drinking heavily / regularly and hadn't lost the weight I have done so far this year. I'm thinking about how much I have improved my health in the last 2.5 months since deciding to cut back. Last day of habitual drinking was Christmas Day, I had one drink on Boxing Day, then several drinks on 3rd Jan following OH's exam and a few drinks early Feb when I visited family.
Even on weeks when I was "being good" and only drinking at the weekend, this would almost invariably be Friday, Saturday and Sunday so I've cut back a huge amount. Being honest, there were some weeks when "being good" meant I didn't drink on a Monday! And to be honest I can't really say I miss it. My low energy at the moment reminds me of weekends feeling exhausted from lack of good quality sleep and I really don't want to go back to that through something I can avoid.8 -
The 'sleep issue' is little appreciated. Sometimes I take a while to get off to sleep, but when I go, next thing I know the alarm clock is going! Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!6

….. taking another night off so 6/14 for me please @cathybird - have a great weekend, everyone.6
