Thank you everyone. Still struggling with sleep but trying to be a bit more relaxed about it and thankful for the sleep I do get. Got 6 hours last night, seems to have helped me today been awake all day.
9/26 for tonight.2 -
I have had insomnia before (it is hell!). Best tips I can offer are stick to a bedtime routine, stay off screens before going to bed, read a book for half an hour before going to bed, something boring. I ended up on sleeping pills for a while, now on mirtazapine to help with sleep which works for me.

Checking in very early to commit to 6/13 please Cathybird. After a brief wistfulness early on last night was plain sailing.3

10/26 going to make the commitment now.Slept 1/1.30am to 6.45am when the bladder alarm clock woke me ha. Not bad for me as I didn’t wake up in the night. Def need to work towards a bit more sleep though tbh.2

I usually declare the morning after, for me it's wanting to have it 'in the bag'. A part of it is my effort to have a 'normal' relationship with alcohol (which I don't have, I think about it far too much). If something nice happens or if an unexpected social opportunity presents itself 'normal' drinkers have a drink guilt free and then don't think about it very much 😕. It's the same with having a monthly target lower than my intended number, I need my 'wiggle room'.maman said:
Hope it works for you. For ages I posted last thing at night as I couldn't trust myself. Now, I find posting early helps. It's a decision made. While the thread isn't judgmental at all there is a sort of accountability which helps. 😊xxlalxx said:I've never declared early morning before and a bit nervous in case jinx myself...
........
Well done cathybird on solving the technical problem, are you a detective in RL? 😃.
I'm so glad this forum is helping our new posters (and old) and hope that sleep problems are resolved.
I am 8/21 for yesterday please. Thank you. X
