NEO Energy - No Feedback Thread, But Any Experiences???

I’m following this thread as I have managed to join (somehow it appears).

I dialled the number, which went through to a receptionist! She said she would get someone to phone my back, and they did within five minutes. 

I am switching to them in three weeks apparently

I would have thought that an energy company using a receptionist for in-bound customer calls is a red flag?

Absolutely, but on the balance of things, it was better than staying with British Gas Evolve. I’ll keep them in check with the payments and not allow a big debt or credit to build up, and see how it goes

Anyone have an update on and/or more recent experiences with Neo?
I registered on their website and got a call this afternoon - with a somewhat hard sell to sign up immediately over the phone.
I asked for confirmation of the quote/pricing by email and am waiting for this before deciding whether to go with them..

I aborted a possible switch to them because of the way they insist on calling you to sell it to you rather than just providing a way if signing up online. Seemed pretty dubious so I explained to the person who phoned me that I'd changed my mind. He still kept trying to sell it to me until I got a bit angry that he didn't seem to be listening.

I decided to give Neo another go and got through to someone much less aggressive than before. Quite polite in fact.
Will see how the switch goes!
