Well it's now nearly 5 full working days since completing their on-line clunky quote thing and I've not heard a dicky bird. I thought that I'd try to ring them on their advertised number 0808 168 4861 but that is clunky !!! Sometimes it rings very very very briefly then goes clunk and returns "Number Unobtainable Tone" other times returns NUT immediately. So I think we can all draw conclusions from that. Whilst Symbio has several cheap deals for me, there's too many bad comments, so I'm I'm off to the next cheapest quote that I've got which is Neon Reef.
Same here 5 days no contact. Very amateur site. So will pass.  But Symbio still cheaper for me so will stay. As want to keep the record of all my suppliers going bust.   :D
:D:D:D That's a good one, but I couldn't be ...ed with the hassle otherwise I may have gone to them.

Just a quick update for anyone thinking of switching to this company, it's now been 2 weeks and no response.

Their 0808 number rings briefly, then hangs up and gives NUT.
I'm not going to be switching to them to be clear, organised another switch a while ago!
Anyone else had any experience, good or bad?
  • "Neo Energy is a white label partner of Euston Energy Limited" - Euston Energy white label which they are likely using only to try and get bitcoins. I'd say just avoid it at all costs no matter what price they come up as.

It's already been mentioned earlier in the thread and the bottom of their webpage does say Euston Energy trading as Neo Energy!

No reply here either. Surprised if they have any customers. Have already decided on staying with Symbio. LOL

I had switched away from SP already, but I thought I'd double check the quote from NEO after they were showing the cheapest tariffs and instead of a quote I got told they'd be in contact. I was originally annoyed that they were going to contact me, now I'm annoyed that they are advertising a tariff on comparison sites that doesn't seem possible to sign up for.

  • I switched from E-On to Neo Energy today. The process was straight forward .. registered interest via their website and an agent called me within the hour.
Unit electricity price is amazing especially as I’m a heavy user but, as noted by others, the proof will be over the coming year as regards whether this newbie survives in this energy market place.

Well you were the "lucky" one, some of us never heard back from them. Considering the company background, directors etc. I hope you continue to be the "lucky" one.
