I'm hoping to start the next round of decluttering too, but realistically can't begin till the upper hallway is finished in order to get the new storage in place. Hopefully we're on target to have this done by the end of the next bank holiday weekend, but there's still flooring to lay and wallpaper to hang.....
Then I can gradually go through stuff that's currently stacked in boxes and also in the guest room built-in cupboard, storing what's required and sorting the remainder into fleamarket and carboot piles 😉 Not that any local carboot sales or fleamarkets have re-opened yet 🙁

It's a warm (in the sun) day here but I've indoorsy stuff to get done - mist coating etc. It's our wedding anniversary today, but no plans to do anything out of the ordinary - although DH did surprise me with an antique photo frame (local cat's protection charity shop find!) this morning 😍

Hello my lovely friends.  

Well life is a bit of a mixed bag at the moment.  Still working my way through the clutter.  Making progress but I have to say at times it feels like walking through treacle.  The once tidy organised top bedroom is now an absolute shambles again as I sort through everything.   But, you know the old saying...."you can't make an omelette without breaking eggs".  😂.  So I just need to press on.  

It doesn't help that the chazzers are restricted to what they can take in one go.  However, on a more positive note I have got rid of 4 big bags so far and have started loading the car for the next drop off.  It's a drop in the ocean of course but it's a start.  I just have to keep reminding myself how good it will feel when it's all done and I can get the space turned into a nice guest room.   

Champagne moment this Morning, Being tortured by my masseuse ......I'm must be a closet masochist.  Paying for pain 😱😂.   However, it's worth it, I feel tons better.  Apart from my knee which is giving me gyp.  Think I need some acupuncture again.  

I'm just an old crock, problem is all this maintenance and bodywork costs money.  Aging is an expensive business....still it beats the alternative.  😉. 

No sales yet. 😟.   But I live in hope.  😂.

My Champagne moment today was my bargain buy cream leather sofa that I bought on eBay for 49p!!!!!   

It looks great in my Living room.

Thanks LL. I was on tenterhooks waiting for the auction to end and when it did, I could hardly believe my luck that I had won the sofa at the starting bid of 49p. It is a good match with the 2 footstools as well.

Derby County were not relegated.......scraped through by the skin of their teeth.....😂🤣

and.......4 sales today.  Wahoo.  We have lift off.  🥂
