I was just about to mention that book LL.
I am definitely an introvert naturally but you wouldn't know sometimes as I can appear quite confident. Since my husband was diagnosed back in 2013 I barely went out for years and then I got ill myself so I couldn't go anywhere even if I wanted to.
When we were both better I did have a great time from the start of 2019 up to the start of lockdown so I am glad I had a year of concerts, restaurants and bars etc... as being indoors again from March 2020 would have sucked even more than it did!
I woke up today and thought I have two weeks until I'm going out in London so I really have to lose this weight I gained. I had a coffee and then did 5,000 steps and then had toast and a protein smoothie when I got home.
I am going to go out to the chazzers next week. I want to get some blue boots and grey boots, a new handbag in a Spring colour and hopefully some dresses and tops.5 -
People saying they feel anxious - I thought I was OK, but, have just looked out of my bedroom window and the family next door have got visitors. All sitting in the garden with coats on (its sunny but cold). I just burst into tears. No idea why. We have had visitors this last week in our garden and have visited friends. I just feel its all so sad. However, we are coming to an end hopefully and I am feeling that this time next year all will be a lot more "normal".Debt free and Keeping on Track6

I just saw Davina McCall and Martin Lewis have another money video out on YouTube if anyone is interested. It's called Own Your Finances.

Good Mornjng my lovely friends......
well just one more day to go.....and then it's our first steps back to FREEDOM!!!!
some essential "me" treatments this week, and hitting the chazzers. Wahoo.10 -
Its going to be an expensive week for me as I have a pedicure, a massage, a facial, gel nails and a haircut due - normally they are spread out over the weeks.I am not high maintenance- honestly 😄😄. I just like supporting 4 local businesses8

Debs.....good for you for getting all your treatments booked for one week. Getting it all done in one fell swoop will make you feel like a new woman. 😁I'm desperate for a massage, will try tomorrow to see if I can get an appt for this week. We go on holiday next Saturday and I would really benefit from a good pummelling to help me loosen up. Epsom salt baths help a bit but not as good as a massage for ironing out the kinks,
went to Aldi this Mornjng, very busy, so just stuck to my list and skipped the "Aisle of Dreams" aka the middle aisles, so didn't spend much at all,
I have been craving fish and chips, nearly cracked and went to the chip shop last night but managed to resist. Instead I bought some bung in the oven ones from Aldi. Half the price. Aldi's large haddock in beer batter is fab, so thats tonight's supper sorted. Nice and easy. I am getting so bored with cooking at the moment.
so cold here today. Hope it warms up again soon......I am so fed up with winter. 😂🤣
oh meant to say the snow killed off the magnolia buds the other day, 😟. They have turned brown and shrivelled up. It's not the first time this has happened, I'm wondering about whether or not to try and transplant it to somewhere a bit more sheltered.8 -
Hope everyone is doing OK on our first day out of lockdown! This morning DH and I walked down to the village and sat outside and had coffee and a teacake. Was bliss! Later we are planning to visit the local pub and have a glass of wineDebt free and Keeping on Track7

My Champagne moment was collecting my Boots order of a bundle of red lip products by CYO from my local Boots. I saved £38 on this order as the bundle was reduced online from £43 to £57
