Well, it's been an .... eventful day. OH had to get an emergency dental appointment, he didn't sleep much due to toothache, the fresh fall of snow made driving a bit too exciting (fortunately, early in the morning so not many people about), the supermarket apparently looked post-apocalyptic but he managed to get loo rolls on his way back from his blood appointment.
Now found out that an old friend of mine has died of Covid today - admittedly, he had other medical problems, but - yeah. Not feeling very festive.

Evening all

Im loving the playlist so far really made me laugh    

DD went for a walk with a friend earlier and we are just waiting for her to come back before getting dinner / snacky bits on the go, we have a bottle of proper champagne (real posh me).

Dressing change was ok healing up just very slowly but I shall get there.

I wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone on here including folk who read but dont post and I have had messages from, its been the most horrible year, when I was diagnosed at the beginning of the year you guys were the first I told apart from my immediate family and you have been there for me every step of the way, I honestly could not have done it without you all, Ive a way to go yet I think but I will get there, thank you all from the bottom of my heart 

And a special thanks to my dear friend Nels, you are such a good friend and your support has been amazing, cant wait till we can meet and get plastered together and put the world to rights, much love xxx

Thanks for the invite Nan, hope it's warm though- just come in from a snowy walk with DH & am just thawing out. I've plenty of Baileys, DB brought us another bottle on Xmas Day- don't think we opened last years yet! I think your playlist has some good'uns on there
