Civil Enforcement - "On Claim for Debt"

Coupon-mad said:Why are you filing in the LBC 'debt' reply forms that the NEWBIES thread tells you not to use because it isn't a debt and you should address the issues in a reply, not filing in forms? Please just do what the NEWBIES thread tells you to do at LBC stage, assuming your landowner/retailer complaint has already been exhausted.
It's the other form I was suggesting to complete which states whether you feel the debt is warranted. NOT the stuff about your financial circumstances.0 -
Redx said:I would not be filling in their forms
I would deny the alleged debt etc like the newbies FAQ sticky thread second post mentions when an LBC arrives
I would email a SAR to the DPO at the PPC attaching a copy of the V5C as proof of I D under the GDPR law , or 2 recent redacted utility bills instead
I haven't yet done the SAR but will do that tomorrow. It's a lease vehicle so I don't have the V5c but will do the business with the utility bills.1 -

The second part of that post??
I pointed you towards the second post, not the second part of a post.
It is the very first few paragraphs of that post that explain exactly how to deal with a Letter of Claim and the accompanying forms.3 -

If the driver's identity has not been revealed then you should tell the scammers their NTK has failed to comply with the strict requirements of paras 13 and 14 of the PoFA, and therefore as hirer/lessee you cannot be held liable for this charge.I married my cousin. Thanks @Coupon-mad
I assumed this form was the actual LBC and was what needing replying to.Noted. I'll ignore the forms and sort the SAR tomorrow (waiting for a new scanner to be able to send proof of identity/address).2 -
Just take a photo on your phone - that'll do.2

Noted @Coupon-mad
(sorry, I typed a reply to you but it didn't post for some reason). I haven't completed their forms and will sort the SAR this weekLandowner - useless. They said if it's already been to appeal they can't touch it1 -
I completed the SAR as per Legal Beagles. I had an almost immediate reply asking for either the VRM or the PCN (as if they couldn't just find that in the system from the other details supplied). Useless. Since heard zero back and have no desire to chase these guys

@Fruitcake - honestly can't remember. I never even thought at the time (this PCN is about 18 months old) that MSE would have support for this.
