Yeah! Plan A strikes again - well done. As you didn't get it in writing, follow it up with an e-mail confirming the action that the landowner agreed to take on your behalf.3

Ye of little faith!Smiley2020 said:Ok in this order and apologies again.
Go to store saying I received this in the post ( or dont show ?) and I am not happy as I am not the driver just the keeper. I feel harassed.
They say sorry Guv no can do to helping me
I go to land owner find out who land owner is - email or call them ?
They say sorry no can do Guv again.
I am hopeless seriously - I don't want to email the wrong info.
No, you're not hopeless, you've just shaken a whole lot of trouble off your back, potentially six years of it and/or an inevitable court case, as UKCPM are ultra-litigious. It would have consumed weeks of your life defending a court claim, which, if you'd have lost, would cost you £200+.Far from hopeless. Well done! 🥂Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

You can also check the status of the PCN via the UKCPM website's 'Pay My Parking Charge' (or whatever they call it). Take screenshots once it shows as cancelled - keep for posterity.Smiley2020 said:

Great - makes you feel really empowered to beat a scam like this, doesn't it? With a good landowner it is easy when you know how.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
