Laura, I felt really excited having mine as well! I was under the weather for a couple of days, but I know lots of people who had it and been fine – it just depends on the individual. I’ll take that any day to beat Covid.I seem to have lost my sewing mojo, I have just had to do a marathon tidying and cleaning session so I could have some estate agents round to value the house. It’s going to be another long distance stint to clear up sufficiently to have photos taken. I am not a naturally tidy person. So the thought of getting sewing stuff out doesn’t appeal at the moment, although I think I would probably find it relaxing. I might try and find some handsewing to do, something I can tidy away in a bag quickly. I’m struggling without any charity shops open, I am hoping to get rid of some stuff on Freecycle, and I think some of my fabric stash probably needs to go. I love the idea of being thrifty and recycling stuff but realistically, I’m not sure I will use some of it.Life is mainly froth and bubble: two things stand like stone. Kindness in another’s trouble, courage in your own.7

Anyone else want to make something in March?2024 Fashion on the Ration - 10/66 coupons used
Crafting 2024 - 1/9 items finished9 -
I saw somewhere that's it's 'MendMarch' so perhaps little bits of mending that clutter the mind as well as the house? Remaking sounds daunting but with a few successes behind us, we may find that mojo again.
I don't see why people shouldn't use the Village Hall for sewing and socially distanced fitting - we could all stand at a distance and make objective comments on even hemlines or fitting sleeves. I could bring teabread if anyone fancies some.
I have a photo of a mend I finished recently which I'll post if I can find it.
Happy vaccinations days, by the way. I was okay with mine though my arm was heavy for a few hours.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

I seem to be fine although am glad to have the luxury of being able to take the day off and stay in bed. Nothing really wrong, but it just feels like I was up til 5am last night moving boxes all night, when in fact I slept for over ten hours.... woke up sleepy, still sleepy, sleepy, sleepy.... and mildly achy.
I like the idea of meeting up in the Village Hall to sew and mend! We'll keep those upper windows open all the time and wear extra cardis

That’s strange, I saw the picture yesterday but I can’t see it now, either! It was a lovely repairLife is mainly froth and bubble: two things stand like stone. Kindness in another’s trouble, courage in your own.8

I can still see it. Definitely a lovely repair as Polly says.
I was like you Laura after my jab. I had my jab in the morning and by about 4pm I had a raging temperature and was in bed by 8.30pm - completely unheard of for me! - and then didn't get up until 9.30 the next morning!
By about 2pm I needed to go back to bed because I felt so tired and slept for another couple of hours. But even with all that I'm glad I've had it. 2nd jab due early May for me.

Something has definitely gone wrong with your photo Cherryfudge. I can't see it either. I get a greyed out no entry sign.
