    I've always fancied a wool-felt winter skirt and waistcoat, with embroidery.... hmmm....

    @Cherryfudge, if you can't get fleece the right weight could you maybe use brushed cotton? 
    That's a good idea - I wouldn't have to worry about the baby overheating either. I did have a quick look at all the white fabric in a couple of local shops and didn't spot anything I really liked but there wasn't much time to search.

    If I don't 'see' you all beforehand, have a day tomorrow. It's been another weird old year but here's something to put a smile on all our faces: new book of coupons in just over a week!
