Paper clip?It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!5

@QueenJess what about those rings you slip your keys on? Not the flimsy ones though.4
-
But the bits of wire and rings and so on only work to replace a zip-pull if there's a hole to thread them through and @QueenJess said "It is the metal zip thing that you hold that snapped off. The zip technically still works, but is just a bit annoying. Unfortunately it isn’t one where you can use a piece of cord or whatever as an alternative."
You can buy replacement sliders and they are fairly cheap - but it's still frustrating to have to do...2025 remaining: 37 coupons from 66:

@TwibbleDee, I am allergic to chillies. It is a bit sad really as I used to love a good veggie chilli or curry but I think I became sensitized to chillies as one day I ate 1 forkfull of a dish and my tongue started to swell up. I probably should have it investigated further as it might be just 1 type of chilli. I can eat peppers, even jalapenos, with no problem and they are all in the same family. I still cook curries, I just use individual spices, never a curry mix or paste so I know exactly what is in it. It does make things difficult sometimes when eating out as a lot of veggie stuff is spiced up, for some reason chefs think if it's not meat it must have spice
though I have found a lovely indian resaurant that will cook for me without chillies.

@PipneyJane, just reread your post and it is sublime I got from BSW, a lovely mix of merino, silk and cashmere, feels lovely to knit with. I might have to find something to make for myself8

This is why there's a note in my signature about buying No More Yarn. I really don't need it.

though I can't honestly blame you, it is lovely stuff and I probably would have got more if I had a plan to use it but I just don't have anywhere to store it atm Justin

A few purchases to declare.. sadly I did try to cheer myself up with some new things, but they are all practical items for doing the school run in the winter and lots of walking/outside activities.
- DMs (looking forward to killing my feet until they soften up) (5 coupons)
- 2 pairs of thick bamboo walking socks (2 coupons)
- 1 bamboo warm zip up top (5 coupons)
I did also find a really long wool coat second hand that I’ve ordered to keep me warm as I only have short jackets. I really feel the cold in case anyone couldn’t guess!
I used 12 coupons, so I think I have 6 left. Really need to not spend any more this year!
