MrsCD the blanket looks lovely, I look at Lucy's blog from time to time, even though I don't crochet, I love her colour combinations, hearing about in life in Yorkshire and that she grew up really close to where I last lived.
TwibbleDee I have been championing Indie Bra/Lingerie shops for over 20 years, another here who is hard to fit.

I might have to bust the points budget even more as I really need at least 1 new bra

Yes, that's the way to do it - I use several thickness of muslin (cheesecloth stuff) and leave it overnight.

And leave the rosehips whole!

It's just there are so many internet sites saying to whizz the rosehips in a food processor to chop them all up and then just put through a sieve - yikes!!!!!!

I did whizz them up in the food processor but put the paste (boiled up as per the recipe) through a jelly bag - I've done it before and it seemed to work fine

Almost forgot - bought 5 yards of (fake) duchesse satin for the dress I'm making, coupons now amended.

Liverpool Anne - Thank you for the suggestion of cotton traders - the reviews of the polo shirts look pretty good so they may be worth a try.

Polly - I had considered community clothing - but when I checked they unfortunately don't do polo shirts. Given the types of things they do this might be a good line for them. Have you had anything from them? I only found out about them last year I think and haven't really needed anything they sell yet. I think the set up is a good idea. I'm afraid the days when we could go and buy knickers from the Corah's factory shop locally that made knickers for M&S have long gone.

Not rushing to buy anything yet (need to save those coupons as much as I can). Once I have had the clear out I will have a look at what I have left and decide whether to get any or hang on a bit longer.

I'm going to make the square, but not just yet. 
I'll wait until we get back from a couple of days away before I start the blanket.
I'm knitting toe up socks with Fish Lips Kiss Heels right now,  to see if I could! 😊😉

I’d be interested to hear your opinion of that type of heel, @MrsCD, once you’ve made them.  (How the heel actually works, whether they’re comfortable to wear, that kind of thing.)

Although my mending will never be invisible (unlike my mum’s). I think with an iron this will more than pass muster (thank heavens for slub style linen)!

I’ve also been in the garden tackling the rosemary. The results of which have been left by the gate for the benefit of the wider village. Do pop by and grab some!

@skogar I haven’t bought anything from Community Clothing yet. My aim for this year was to not buy any new (as opposed to second hand) clothes.  I have made an exception for work clothes, and needless to say underwear!  If I were to buy anything new I would certainly want to try their stuff, I think it will last a long time.
