    Happy Christmas, fabbers.

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and Boxing Day. We had a nice Christmas, very relaxed, but that’s just the way we like it.  Tomorrow, I’m taking DD and DN shopping to spend some of their Christmas money.  I’m going to try and avoid the sales (famous last words).  I’m going to try and go early, before it gets too busy.

Hope you are all well and happy.

    Hello Ladies,

Unfortunately, a few members of my family tested positive for Covid. My sister R, my niece M and my 2 great nieces all by Christmas Day. That meant my 2 sisters who live in Birmingham had to cancel their adult children and grandchildren coming to them for Christmas day and Boxing day, which meant they both had much quieter Christmases than they had originally planned for.  :( Thankfully none of my family are feeling too unwell.

My neighbour and friend who lives 2 doors down, has had to cope with most of her family testing positive for Covid, including 3 of her adult children, her granddaughter and her sisters, which again meant all of the family having to cancel their Christmas get togethers and cope with ill health.  :o

I had a really relaxing Christmas with my son and daughter as planned. 3 blissful days of no laundry! Only now have I finally had to put a white wash on.  :)

I went to Christmas karaoke in Forest Hill yesterday evening. I had a good time as I was dancing a lot.  <3 I only sang 3 songs, as there were a lot of other good singers there.  :)

I got a total of £120 for Christmas as well as some earrings, a small jewellery box, a hardback book and a box of shortbread from my most immediate neighbour. I have not spent any of the money I received yet, as I do not need or want anything. I will wait and see if anything eventually takes my fancy. I still have other presents to open, as my older daughter and son-in-law forgot to bring our presents to us when they came to pick up their Christmas presents from us and her 40th birthday presents from us. I will get them sometime in January when I go to visit them in Andover.  :)

Sugar sorry hear various family and friends have tested positive.  Hopefully their symptoms are mild and they recover quickly.

me and OH took our tree down yesterday - it’s nice to get the house back in order.  I’m back at work tomorrow, but I don’t think there will be much going on, so I’ll enjoy the quiet.

😂🤣.  Was that because you are virtuous or because there was nothing worth buying.

     🤣.

Although to be fair, I didn’t really look, as i had DD and DN with me and it was really busy.  I also bought a few items before Christmas anyway.

Morning fabbers, I’ve popped on to report an early morning fabbing disaster.

I’ve recently discovered hot wax, which I’ve found to be less much less painful that regular waxing. I have been using as a top up in between salon waxes.  I decided to try my underarms today and it was a disaster.  I couldn’t pull my skin taut enough at the same time as removing the wax, so it was really painful and the wax wasn’t coming off, as it was just pulling at my skin.  So, I how have one smooth armpit and one hairy one😂.
