I've been recycling soft plastics for a few months now @chanie. I'm lucky in that our local little Coop takes them as well as Sainsbury's. Last week I discovered that a limited number of Sainsbury's branches our nearest is Winchester) takes the hard plastic trays, pots and punnets like you get for yogurt and mushrooms as they have a bin for them in the car park. It's easy for me as I pass the branch on my way to my dance class.

Of course, it varies hugely what your local authority takes. We can recycle plastic bottles in our bin although collection is currently suspended because of a lack of drivers.
I know I'm not going to save the planet like this but I think it all helps a bit if it's only t make us aware.6 -
Not heard of the Stop The world cafe in Southend @Wednesday2000 that one must be after my time - left the place in 2006 though did go back to visit for family until most of them moved to other parts of Essex.
Just done half my Xmas pressie shop today on Amazon - so feeling good. Got the other half to do and the dreaded holiday food, drinks and nibbles shop, planning on doing that one next week though.
I'm actually not planning on stuffing myself silly this season and I'm trying to lose weight. So I guess we'll see how that goes, to be honest my biggest temptation is the wine. It's surprising how many calories booze has👀
Still no fabbing done apart from my facial the other day, I just have a fair bit on, plus it's cold and I think that I just feel like curling up. I need to bleach my hair this week though, so at least planning on getting that done.
Though no grooming apart from the daily cleanse, tone moisturise etc... I have been reading like crazy when I get some spare time, finished a biography on Sylvia Plath, and now started one on the Manson women - morbid, I know.😃
Diet was going okay up until today, when I err, lapsed a bit and had too much wine. After that I lapsed some more and went over my daily calorie budget. Now I'm annoyed with myself, I will have to cut back tomorrow grrr6 -
Good Morning Lovely Ladies. How are we all. I'm doing ok. Still lying low a bit, until after my jabs. They had to be rescheduled due to having that lurgy, but I will get my covid next Wednesday and the flu one the week after.Mini Riot - I too have made a start on the Christmas shopping. Don't want to have a last minute panic. Don't beat yourself up about the diet, we all fall by the wayside. I agree with the just wanting to curl up - that's just how I feel at the moment. I've completely lost my mojo. These dark November days really don't help, I feel my energy just draining away.I do like Christmas, it's like a beacon of light and warmth in the darkest time of year. Literally. It coincides with the Winter Solstice which is when the sun returns to the northern hemisphere. It sounds crazy I know but I can almost feel the shift and for me it always feels like a turning point. I know of course that the solstice is actually the start of winter proper and that it often heralds colder weather but for me I think it is about the amount of daylight. Once the year has turned then the days start to lengthen and I feel my energy levels start to lift again.2021 has not been a particularly good year for me. I wont bore you all. Suffice it to say that I'm putting down a big full stop and drawing a line under it all. I have made some pretty big decisions about what I want to do next year, the changes I intend to make. With that in mind I have already decided on next years Mantra and it is "Radical Transformation".Watch this space......😂🤣

Miniriot - I liked the TV show Aquarius (American TV series) - Wikipedia that was based on Charles Manson.
LL - Ooh, it sounds like you have exciting plans for next year.
I was texting my friend last night and we might go to the Winter Wonderland this year. I've never been before. It was when I was in bed and it meant I fell asleep without taking my makeup off or having a bath last night! I need to sort myself out this morning.
I'm just listening to the Chris Moyles Platinum Hour first. They were just playing Stereophonics. I can't even remember that concert that well which was back in March 2020.
I have to start an exercise regime next year as walking each day isn't enough for me with the way I eat and drink! I have to work out what type of exercise I can do with fibromyalgia as running is out of the question so I was thinking about the gym and whether it would be worth the money if I didn't use the running machine. I was thinking about swimming, maybe.
I do have quite a lot of concerts to look forward to in 2022 as well.
I was going to go for a mooch in the charity shops today or tomorrow to look for some boots and maybe a bag for going out next week.2025 GOALS

Hello Ladies,
I am looking forward to celebrating my older daughter's 40th birthday in December, then Christmas. I have bought Christmas presents for my adult children, my grandchildren, my grandson's partner, my Great grandson and my brother and sisters. I bought them throughout the year at bargain prices. I also bought my daughter's 40th birthday presents throughout the year.
From next week I shall start wrapping all of the presents, so that I can begin distributing them. My son in law will come and collect the bulk of the presents by car, as my older daughter, my son-in-lay, my grandson, his partner, my Great grandson and my 2 granddaughters live in Andover. My older son lives in Basingstoke.
Now that I have a round dining table as opposed to a rectangle, I got the rectangle cloth Christmas tablecloth out to see if it would fit adequately on the round table and it does.
I am buying minimal extra food for Christmas and New Year and as a consequence, there is nothing else for me to buy.
I went to watch the film Spencer on Monday at my local Odeon. I enjoyed parts of the film, but I found some of the scenes quite disturbing as they depicted Princess Diana in a way which was really distorted and not rooted in reality. Kristen Stewart does a great depiction of Diana in terms of capturing Diana's voice and mannerisms. I would only give this film 6/10.5 -
@sugarbaby125 I was talking to a colleague about '"Spencer" the other day & she really didn't like it, for the same reasons as you.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Hello Ladies,
I went to watch the film King Richard with my son and daughter at my local Odeon cinema last night. All 3 of us really enjoyed this film and would give it a 8 or 9/10.I used my CEA card to purchase my daughter's ticket so that ticket was free. My son has Odeon Limitless.
I bought Adele's 19 and 21 CD albums secondhand and her new 30 CD album from eBay as I really love her music, but realised I only had her 25 CD album in my CD collection. I am really looking forward to An Audience with Adele tomorrow evening.
I am going to see my brother H this afternoon.6 -
Just had to share a photo of my cactus. ❤️
Not sure how a screw driver got into it. 🤔
Thanks for the film reviews @sugarbaby125. I'm hoping to see Clarice. I love her ceramics but the film is about women in the workplace in her era too.
I'm looking forward to following your plans in the new year @helensbiggestfan.
I'm keeping up with the fabbing. Hair appointment booked for tomorrow. I'm all for DIY treatments but I think it's worth spending on hair and some other things if you can afford it.
