New Ryanair Advert - Bit Naughty

Just saw the new Ryanair Advert advertising people to book their Easter and Summer Holidays abroad now the vaccine is here.
They have used the tagline "Jab and go"
Bit naughty/misleading in the midst of world wide restrictions. But could also be interpreted that they will only take vaccinated passengers - this certainly appears to be how some media have interpreted it.
Just hope people don't book off the back of it for Easter thinking they will definitely be vaccinated by then or more worrying that Ryanair will be offering this as part of their service

If you expect Ryanair to be ethical and responsible I think you'll have a long wait ahead of you!7

Anyone naive and gullible enough to swallow a marketing slogan at face value, without conducting even the most cursory research into what's actually meant, deserves all they get IMHO....3

If you're prepared to take the risk of flying overseas in a global pandemic, you are doing so with your eyes wide open and can hardly complain if you end up out of pocket.3

I'm savvy enough not to but many aren't.
I think these sort of forums are a great example of how people can be fooled by a slogan or do think that Ryanair will refund them etc or don't read the terms and conditions before buying or do choose the fly in a pandemic, with some of the posts people seek support and guidance on.
That's not a bad thing as that's exactly why this forum is here.1 -
Better book your flight out quickly then.CKhalvashi said:The EU borders (the majority of Ryanair's flights to and from the UK) will close at 11pm on December 31 to most British nationals, and rightly so, due to the failure of the UK to control the virus within its own borders.0 -
Based on the MSE poll on refunds for cancelled flights, most of the people having issues are the ones who purchased prior to a pandemic being declared, as they are the ones who don't benefit from any new re-booking conditions that airlines started introducing for flights purchased during the pandemic.HampshireH said:I think these sort of forums are a great example of how people can be fooled by a slogan or do think that Ryanair will refund them etc or don't read the terms and conditions before buying or do choose the fly in a pandemic, with some of the posts people seek support and guidance on.
Labeling all those seeking help as people who chose to buy or fly during a pandemic is a common problem on forums like these.1 -
Over 600,000 people have already received their first jab. Oxford vaccine may well receive clearance shortly. By Easter there'll be many people in a position to travel should they wish. Tourism in Europe is a major industry that is in desperate need following the events of this year. Ryanair itself cannnot continue indefinately without a suffficient volume of passenger traffic.HampshireH said:
